Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of end-to-end contract activities, including negotiation of terms, conditions, and pricing, and effective administration of awarded contracts.
- Skillfully conceptualize, edit, and refine responses, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations for US Government RFQs.
- Lead customer negotiations from initiation to contract award.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments cross functionally to ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality, and ISO standards.
- Securing negotiation and execution of NDAs.
- Assemble and submit proposal packages to customers, follow up, and address action items.
- Monitor FEDBIZ requirements or other Aerospace databases for opportunities. Research industry trends and new Government and commercial opportunities.
- Develop program milestone schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Administer commercial quotes in the company’s ERP system, participate in pricing meetings, and review purchase order terms and conditions. Interface with Operations and supporting departments to ensure compliance with order flow-down requirements, quality clauses, and optimal lead times.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Marketing departments on technical questions and customer needs in support of new business development.
- Provide program management support to Engineering and collect data items and reports for customer programs.
- Support the Sales Team where needed, including answering invoice questions and responding to customer surveys.
- Assist in drafting and updating departmental procedures as needed.
Requirements:
- Possess 5+ years of professional experience in full Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, English, Technical Management, or a related field. An Advanced Degree (Juris Doctorate, Law Related Degree) or any background in law is highly preferred.
- Enjoy collaborating on cross-functional teams in support of new programs and new product development.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess strong analytical skills for reviewing and redlining complex contract agreements.
- Flourish in successfully crafting and negotiating mutually agreeable contract terms and conditions for business opportunities.
- Experience using an ERP system
