Responsibilities:

  • Sprays manufactured products with protective or decorative paint, enamel or lacquer.
  • Perform all aspects of the finishing process for Dayton-Granger’s parts, including sanding, buffing and masking products prior to sanding or painting when needed
  • Remove mask and touch-up painted surfaces prior to presentation to quality inspection.
  • Buffing or polishing any imperfection on units to meet our workmanship and industry standards for parts finishing.
  • Assigned other tasks by management.
  • Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School graduate or equivalent.
    • Good communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
    • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and the ability to interpret blueprints
    • Must have knowledge of and experience with all areas related to the processes of sanding, filling, priming and painting.
    • Must be able to work long periods of time wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.
      • Basic computer skills.
